I sure keep seeing old sketches lying around in my room now, do I?
I drew this a few years ago and decided to quickly colour this piece this year. As you can see, my drawings back then were stiff in gestures compared to how I draw today.
Sure, the idea has been done already, but I wanted to draw this concept in my style, with my kind of humour.
I have nothing against the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and it's flaws, since it's one of my guilty pleasures for TV programming as a child. As for the Legend of Zelda cartoon, I didn't care less since I preferred the wacky cartoons at age 4.
